Just did a searchm but got crap come up like "How did the military name their guns" (though if there is a link to an already posted thread, post it please!!!)
Anyway, quick question!...
On BF2s it under the Weapon" tab to the right, it says various types of weaponry. So could anyone answer what guns from the game fit into where. I've put a few in already, and I got told the PKM is a Light Machine gun... so here's what I have:
Assault Rifles
F2000, G3, AK,
Grenade Launcher Attachment
[Self explanitory]
Carbines
(possibly) G36C, G36E, Scar-L, M16A2
Light Machine Guns
PKM
Sniper Rifles
[Self explanitory]
Pistols
[Self explanitory]
AT/AA
Sraw, Eryx
Submachine Guns
P90, MP5, (possibly) MP7??????
Shotguns
[Self explanitory]
Knife
[Self explanitory]
Defibrillator
[Self explanitory]
Explosives (C4, Claymore, AT Mine)
[Actually tells you in the title]
Hand Grenade
[Self explanitory]

Though I'm sure the G36C is classed as an assault cos I've killed a lot more with one of than I have in Carbine, and I used to bash the shit out of assault (before it was rendered useless).
Same with P90 and MP7. I've barely been killed with them and I swear my ratio on them should be at least 1.50 as I don't get many times by SMG's.
Anyways, pelase help if you can.
