Here are some things I have as principles:

Moving away from the principles of the Bible is bad.

The whole idea of a welfare state is wrong, not the idea of helping others out, but the sense of entitlement and the fostering of laziness it creates.

The US is based on the assumption that everyone is afforded the same opportunity, but not neccesarily the same result.

My Rorschach comment was a reference to how that character in Watchmen never compromises. I won't give it away, but let's just say not compromising ever can be... detrimental to your health.

Anyway, as far as the Bible goes, I hope you're talking mostly about the New Testament. The Old Testament was pretty hardcore.

I would suggest if people want a clear understanding on what Conservatives are all about . look at the Heritage Foundation it answers all sorts of questions and shows exactly the agenda the present government wants to take this great nation to.

I did for years, not so much the past 3 years though. He is a tool. If he wasn't a tool the Republican party wouldn't treat him like an ambassator.

Nobody is backing the current Republican party very much. They have even allienated Rush. Hannity is a little better, but still panders a bit. Beck is far right of both of them and comes accross pretty wacko, but at least he throws anyone under the bus.
