Global warmings a silly idea.

Climate change, now that's real.
Global Warming is also the natural part of it, Enhanced Global Warming is all the man-added stuffs. That's if I remember my Geography right.
Yeah pretty much. The climate does go through cycles of heating and cooling, quite obviously, but what's different is this latest cycle is progressing much faster than it should be, and i doubt that pouring shite into the atmosphere and oceans is helping.

Liberals who see how much money and control they could gain by creating "carbon" emission taxes, fines, penalties. Taxes, fines, penalties on vehicles who dont meet a 'carbon friendly' goal hire scientists too

Where does the IPCC fit into this political rant?

This shouldn't be a political issue. This is a physical problem, not one of words.

It only became a political issue after the energy lobby got involved.

Before that, it was simply about science.

Basically, Al Gore is the liberal reaction to what conservatives had been putting out against global warming.  I don't like Al Gore or these oil-funded "scientists", but I do support solid research into an important topic.

Well said, assuming you meant its a natural thing that has nothing to do with man.

Global Warming is an excuse for creating carbon criminals so the gov can absorb more fucking money from innocent people.
exactly my point...    I do believe we shouldn't pollute when possible also... but Al Bore needs to go away and co...

My take on things...

Pollution could only possibly be bad for the planet - it would be pretty bloody fantastical to think that it does any good to the planet - so cutting down on it would be a good thing.

As regards global warming being man-made or part of a natural cycle? Well, we just don't know to be honest.

Then ignore the fucker! Geez! Is it just me, or are denialists the only people who mention Al Gore - ever?

are they right... should we dismiss one of the coldest winters on record...?   I thought the ice cap size was underestimated... by a piece of ice the size of california...?    Does anyone know if humans are ruining the earth?
Well, for me, it's been one of the hottest summers. Local, instance variations are pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Trends.

The ice cap size underestimation was for a few weeks. Please don't tell me you think all measurements from the last decades are faulty because of them...

No, no one knows if humans are ruining the earth. There's only one way to be absolutely certain and I would rather not push it.
