His line of shirts are nice though. I wear them to work. Other than that he's a stinky crotch.

Whilst in the dreamland you live in that's all well and good, sadly in reality society would probably collapse were the government simply to kill off income tax.
Why would it? Several studies show user tax could work. The bad thing is the lower ranks will actually see a tax increase while the fat cats see an effective massive tax cut.
how so? IS the tax on yachts, planes, cars, property homes, resorts etc, not that high?
yes it is high, but fat cats don't have to buy planes and such, while everybody has to buy food and clothes.

So if there was a 15% flat tax on everything all of the poor would see an effective tax increase because many of them don't make enough to pay income tax, but they would have the sales tax on everything just about double. The fat cats now at 37% or whatever would see that 37% tax on profit reduced to a 15% flat tax only on stuff they buy, not on their income.

In short, it sounds great but I believe it would cause our budget to implode.

I ain't buying that, since there will never be a tax on food. and the taxes on luxery items will be more than most poor people make in income or welfare in a year.

Or does all of a sudden rich people are expected to stop loving their toys now? Not to even mention the more money they have the more they will spend thus generating even more tax revenue.
