The fact remains that most financial news markets had been leading people astray for the last 2 years.  That is what Stewart's general argument was.

This isn't even really as much about Santelli as it is about how much the average person was getting duped by Wall Street.

Who said that?  I like Stewart, and I find him funny, but I'm not claiming he's some economic expert.
