Is there a way to get a simple buddy list to sit on the system tray on the computer? What is the code or JavaScript that can see who is online?

Nice work fellers, well done.

I wish there was a buddy list application that allowed you to enter buddies, it showed the server name, IP address, port and map they are playing. Player limited etc. and you didn't have to be logged into a central authentication server like Xfire.  And I wish you could simply copy the address directly into your already running BF2 IP slot.  Xfire may be nice for some but it doesn't play nice with me which is why I am hardly on. When I attempt to join a game that someone else is on I always seem to either not join and have to type in the IP address manually or else it take a long while. Plus it seems that most people I want to play with live in Germany during the times I want to play. The LAG across the Atlantic is horrible.

Of course better yet. Have a damn Buddy area built into the game! Fucken morons at EA/DICE I swear!

Well I think he wants something that doesn't require opening a browser.
Xfire is a good alternative. But still I could see something that was even simpler.
Nothing flashing. Simple Windows created Window that has only basic info.
Eh... Once again something that could be added to BF2 game interface that wouldn't be too hard.
