I actually like the NCAA Men's Tournament except for the fact that it's 1 and done. It's great because you still have Conference Championships and tournaments like the NIT for teams that don't quite make it. Basketball these days is way more exciting than it was in the late '80's/early '90's. With the exception of Magic and Jordan there wasn't much excitement. Now you have Kobe, Lebron, Deron Williams, Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul etc. Just because there are more black people with tattoos doesn't mean it's a rap concert.

Watch Kobe go for 40+ again vs. the Grizzlies tonight. Should be a good game. The Lakes are on a 2 game skid and need to reestablish their dominance. Kobe plays well vs. the Grizzlies and the role players shouldn't be held to ~30% shooting again.

People have been ejected for much shitter fouls, that was a pretty bad foul. His neck nearly went 90 degrees.

Flagrant 1 probably will be what he gets. That game was really bad. Lakers haven't looked good in a few games now. Part of it is Kobe thinking he can just turn it up at any time, and I think that rubs off on the players. Although, they did shoot horribly last night and have been lately. Next off to Housten and San Antonio

Honestly I think they are blowing it out of proportion. It was a hard foul but Ariza was making a play on the ball. The real question is how the refs allowed the game to get so chippy before that. The game was getting more physical and aggressive as it went on. The NBA officials have been consistently bad since at least the playoffs last year. So many refs are acting ridiculous trying to make names for themselves.
yeah NBA took out 200 million loan, and they said some players who maybe making 20 million this year if they are free agents next year they might be making as much as 1 million a year according to ESPN.
