What does that mean? Stagnation or decline for the forseeable future. Long term investment-vacuum unemployment. Frankly, we are all constituent parts of our respective home nations and prosper/suffer together. When the shit hits the fan we all have to pick up the tab because we don't live in a world where every man is an island and every man can fend for himself irrespective of what is happening down the other end of the street. That ended when we stopped chasing boar with spears and started trading items and organising ourselves socially.

Cam, they were considered subprime when they got the mortgage. It was well before today's economic downturn.

It's far more than subprime that are being affected now FEOS. Subprime was the root but the cancer has spread and is spreading. People as far away as China are being affected never mind non-'subprime' America.

I fully understand that.

What Santelli was ranting about was bailing out the morons who bought mortgages they knew they couldn't afford...subprimers. He was talking about THEN, not NOW.

There is plenty more, but 8-9 out of 787 isn't that bad of a percent considering the norm. Although I still think it is crap that these congressmen have to pander to each other in such a juvenile way.
