If he's smart its more about getting healthcare under govt control and slashing the cost out of it.

Big business is already getting bailouts.

The 'Average Joe' is under water with his mortgage.

Only place left to squeeze some dimes out of, is the privately held small business owner.  Who just happens to technically make over $200,000, as the gross income of their privately held business counts as 'their' income.

Edit: And if he does greatly increase taxes on the small business owners of America, we will well and truly cripple this country.

and why is it you expect someone else to flip the bill for your bullshit? Oh I forgot, because they were smart with their money and their decisions while you were a dumbfuck with yours. So naturally, lets punish achievment and reward failure. I can pay my mortgage because I am responsible for taking it on. Here is more change you can believe in, my wife, a teacher, will not be getting a raise, and probably will be getting a 2% pay cut, to cover all of this change we can believe in, and why not, our govt. has decided, she makes enough, and should be nieghborly and spread the wealth. WHy does she need it, who gives a fuck that she worked for it and earned it. There are too many losers out there that need her money more than she does.

Fuckin' socialists. Reward failure, punish achievment. Cut our income, yeah that is the way to get me stimulated into spending money.

There already is provisions for people to get taken care of without health care. What he wants is to force ALL of us into GOVT healthcare.

and here is a news flash, my wife is NOT rich. She WORKS, she EARNS, she ALREADY PAYS TAXES. This is nothing more than govt. getting us all dependant on govt. regardless if we want them or need them to take care of us.

There aren't enough Americans who are wealthy enough to pay for it.

That's the point of the OP.

It's something that's been conveniently ignored for the past year or so during the campaign: Obama thinks that there's this unlimited source of income in the upper 2-5% of Americans. There's not. At least not to support the level of spending he's proposing.

It's a vicious cycle. He's going to tax the hell out of people who own the businesses that are contracting because of the economic crunch. Thus, they have less money available for the government to collect. And even less after the government raises their primary and marginal tax rates, which further reduces the capital they have available to invest in their business (hire new employees, pay existing employees, expand the business, etc)...which exacerbates the economic crunch. Which leads to more taxes levied by Obama...and around and around we go.

You can not reason with a liberal about money and taxes ( or anything really), to them, if they do not have to pay for it, it is free.
