EIGHTY EIGHT MILES PER HOUR!!!

https://www.lionking.org/~simba007/BACK_TO_THE_FUTURE-0.jpg

I just don't see how it'd be possible to physically go back in time, but then again, nobody in the 1500's could see how it was possible to fly, let alone get to the moon.

I'm sure we'll be traveling to other solar systems within 500 years, but I don't think Time Travel would ever happen. Way too risky tbh. It's like the Butterfly Effect. If you kill a butterfly in the past, it might not flap it's wings creating a small gust which eventually accumulates in to a devastating Hurricane or Tornado or alters the path of said Hurricane/Tornado.

Speaking of, didn't anyone else watch the Butterfly Effect?

spoilers
When he goes back in time and stops the dynamite from killing that baby, he loses both his hands, hurts his back and ends up spending the rest of his life in a wheel chair. Travels forward to the normal time and everyone is used to the fact he is in a wheel chair and has been for years.

After he is in prison and goes back in time he tells his prison mate to watch his hands, goes back in time, scars himself and returns. And they magically appear in front of the prison mate like new.

For that to work his original time travel would have made his arms magically fall off when he returned, but they didn't.

That bug ruined the whole movie for me. lol

He was really skipping dimensions so it doesnt matter. if the dimension theory is possible you could have no legs in another dimension you're just skipping mind not your body. The 'mind' (loose term) is all that i think would go. The body is more of a tool to live your life in that set time in space.

Well if he was skipping dimensions they shouldn't have called it the Butterfly effect! Plus he just gets scars appear in one of those "dimensions" so it's more than just his mind travelling.

It's going to be at least another 500+ years before people really start taking that seriously, and that's if that theory even stands that long, which is unlikely.
