Now that's ghetto. I had a laptop with a completely raped screen (the LCD was broken to pieces, useless), and my mum's laptop screen got broken about a year after my laptop's, so i took her slightly broken (one small crack) 15.4" widescreen screen and replaced my old non widescreen screen with it. And taped it on

more pics to follow when i bother installing an O/S on it, it'll be slightly more irritating than usual as the DVD drive in it is broken
Lol last pic is ultimate ghetto

I love Kingston (Yes, Kingston) for making an LCD that runs directly on 12V DC. Lappy battery time goes from 2h to 4.5h. This is so coming with me to the summer place this summer.

And I know the table is fucking messy, shitty and dirty. Mom assigned me to clean it up before 7 tomorrow, so shut up.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Why not just get a 12V wall adapter instead of using a fucking huge ass battery?

Because that's not outrageously impractical and nerdy.

I have the adapter for it. I just find it amusing that it works so well on a battery. I'm gonna need it this summer.

Lightning, storms and power blackouts? Sounds like summer in Finland

+1 for anyone who can guess what it is. Hint: Ot's auduo rolotod.

The connectors are as follows: GND, output, input, input.

Oh you guys.

It's a stereo to mono low-pass filter. Who can't see that?

While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

It's going on the input of my sub amp. It's a full-range amp, so I gotta kill off the higher frequencies.

Changed the stock fan of my PSU to red led NZXT fan. Now its dead silent and looks awsome.

Also did cable management again. Much cleaner looking... going to order some heavy sound dumbening mat to add extra weight to the case to remove resonance for once and for all.

Getting UV cathode too so that the red sides of the EVGA cards will "glow" in dark.

And probably paint the case insides to shiny black too to add some funky effect with UV light...

What about mixing a matte black with some UV reactive compound? I know next to nothing about paint so you may want a consult, but if you could paint the insides so that under light it's a nice flat black and under UV there's this soft glow... beautiful.

Painted the case inside with matte black. Will see tomorrow if I need to paint it another time and if I missed any spots that are visible when the hardware is in the case.

Get some clear UV reactive spray, find some stencil design you like, win.

Paintjob looked awsome. Added little paint in two spots, but other than that I'm quite happy with the quality. I'll throw the stuff in the case tonight. Won't do much cable management as going to switch PSU in couple weeks...
