Gents, I've searched and searched several other sites as well, to no avail.

I'm curious as to if anyone has done a work-up on exactly what the factors in the "IN game" BFHQ, leaderboards: kit equip, sniper rifle (or the like) far right of deaths/kills is a column for accuracy. I'm just wondering what the accuracy calculation is based upon?

Does EA truly track each round vs. hit?

Yes, shots fired is tracked at the server. The calculations are done, and results sent to the EA servers. The calculation is shots hit, divided by shots fired.

yeah. and whatever happened to suppressive fire!? i hate people who dont cover me when i go running outt into the open. 
think theres an enemy there? put a few rounds in that direction, see what happens. NOTHING. thats what suppressive fire does!

Agree. My accuracy sucks, but I don't care at all...I mean, even swinging your knife at a wall lowers you knife-accuracy...that's just ridiculous and no one should pay attention to that.

I couldn't agree more... it dosn't matter,  my question wasn't: does it matter? My question was just how it is calculated, the thought of EA recording every shot fired then comparing it to actual hits is an amazing feat to myself. I did not mention that i cared about accuracy, just that I wanted to know/learn how it was formulated.
