birdman read my mind. Why does he have his old stats in his sig? Anyone normal would be ashamed to be know as a stat padder. He is flaunting the fact. That's pretty sad to be publicly proud of you're stats that EA wiped away with a few key stokes.
Why do stat padders pad? For medals. How many points do they get from stat padding? Unless they do a hell of alot of it, all they can really get for stat padding for medals is a few thousand.
Either way, vengences stats were impressive, and stat padding contributed to little of his total score, points wise.
Although some of those badges are faked, here's a message to stat padders:
Badges are not hard to get. Me, a 13 year old gunery sergeant, got expert knife on my first try.
I killed the same master sergeant multiple times who didnt even have his basic yet.
All you have to do is tell yourself: I want this medal, and I'm going to keep trying to get it.
For the next week or so, I'm going to be playing only pistol to get the few hundred i need for 500 global, then get expert pistol.
None of the badges are hard to get, just practice, and keep trying.

I had a few hundred more than that before I got wiped, you just need to go into a point-frenzy for a few weeks and you can get insane ammounts of golds easily.
