Whats the difference... I see that some of the x700pro/x850pro seem to be better then the new models... I'm not technically advanced when it comes to understanding the pipelines/pixel shaders.... blah blah blah.... anyone care to fill me and others in on why the x850pro seems better then the 1600pro or 1300pro?

I'm guessing that the X1300 and X1600 are just a bit enhanced from there orignal versions. (X300, X600)

The high end cards from the last generation will be faster than the low end cards from the current gen.

The X850 was the high end card for the last generation, which is why it is still faster than the X1300 and X1600 from the current gen. This is because the latter two were designed simply to fill the gap in the low and mid end of the market, yet still provide new technologies such as SM3 and AA+HDR that the low and mid cards from the last gen do not have.

Hope that answers your question.
