yes, yet another tainted congressmen... he forgot to bring up the request for a donation...oops...
will he be ok or have to bow out? This is ridiculous....

"SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Raising fresh questions about his appointment to Congress, Sen. Roland Burris admitted in a document released Saturday that former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's brother asked him for campaign fundraising help before the governor named Burris as Illinois' junior senator.

The disclosure reflects a major omission from Burris' testimony in January when an Illinois House impeachment committee specifically asked if he had ever spoken to Robert Blagojevich or other aides to the now-deposed governor about the Senate seat vacated by Barack Obama."

Is this enough evidence for them to have the current senator from Illinois to step down? Or is all this going to be swept under the rug by the Democrats since this is 'one of their own'?

I would have thought they would have been leaping all over this given how eager they were to keep him out.

Or they're in hiding, not wanting to embarrass themselves over exposing their lack of balls (again) in not continuing to refuse the appointment.

I lol'd when I read this story ... the one I read said Burris "voluntarily updated" the committee with information he "didn't have a chance to mention in his testimony." Seriously.

I still don't see where Obama comes into this.

I didn't say he had anything to do with this, I said Obama thinks this guy is ok, when he, like all of Obama's acquaintances has ethics issues.

Obama does not have a bad word to say about any of these people, not the felons not the tax cheats, not the racists. This guy is another piece of shit and Obama thinks he is a great guy.
