No it's the typing and using things like "ppl" and "u" all the time, I was talking about destruktion over there. And saying that usmarines mong way of typing should be the lowest that someone should ever go

Windy and pretty cloudy from what I've heard, so I'd imagine they were flying IFR.

My 5 months of flight school have finally paid off!

Perfect weather for the buildup of ice on a turbo-prop (which are exceptionally susceptible to ice). Combine that with darkness (harder to see the ice) and that they were on final approach (the time when they would have started to power down for "glide approach") means they would have dropped like a stone.
