8800GTX SLi?

Hi Guys,

Right so I got my self a BFG 8800GTX which is a very nice card indeed but however I feel its time for a little upgrade by going SLi making it cheaper rather then buying a latest card. BFG dont make the card I want any more from what I can find but found this instead...

Would this run in SLi with my current BFG 8800GTX and/or is it not worth it?

Yes I do have the PSU/motherboard to run this...

Not really worth it, no.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

It'll work, but it's horrendously overpriced. What resolution are you playing at? SLI/CF only shows its true power for high resolutions

I run GTX's SLI got my second for 80 bucks of ebay FTW.

Biggest problem i have is overheating due to the fact they have soundcard crammed in betwix.

One card hit 118 C and started artifacting like a mad cunt.

Performance ain't bad just gotta get heating sorted.

But as max said it won't be worth the price your paying
