My ingame progress bar on time to next promotion does not appear to be working as there is nothing!
Anyone else got the same problem?

its because of the lowered ranks. Since you would normally still be a lance corporal, it does not even recognize that you have sergeant. Therefore you would have zero progress towards being a staff sergeant.

Yes. EA, as usual, isn't yet done with all active account issues. It'll take some time, but I think that's nothing to worry about...
