i posted this idea on the wrong forum so let me try it here.
class: hacker
weapon: bag of chips, pen, calculator
special abilities: take control of enemy UAV and satellite, eaves drop on enemy commander communications, change trajectory of enemy artillery fire and last but not the least... free porn for squad members!

oh and another idea... combat UAVs. arm them with missiles or laser guided bombs. spec ops and squad leaders (of any class) should be able to pick the targets with infrared laser target designators.
edit: nevermind about this idea. it is already implemented on the xbox/ps2 version. except that they use it because there is no commander position on the xbox/ps2 version. would be nice to have on the pc version tho.

I liked the pilot one, and i'd suggest this: if you get into a plane or helicopter as pilot or gunner you are switched to pilot class, no matters what you were before, and get:
Weapons: pistol.
Armor: none.
Stamina: high.
Abilities: to fly, of course.
I'd apply the same to tank crews (except tank's turret gunner, which doesn't have to be so specialized) and APC drivers, giving them a SMG and a pistol as weapons.
This way you make sure dumb monkeys wont take aircraft to bail out on flags and waste a plane, and vehicle people to be bit more careful: if their tank is wasted they'll be in a pretty bad situation with such equipment... but hey! you had a tank

The assault class should be called a grenedier class without grappling hook and instead add smoke nades since the assault class in sf doesn't have smoke nades. Now for the assault class here is what I have in store(without the unguided rocket launcher idea for assault class)

How about the commander can shoot only TWO Hellfire missles from the UAV and this is where my class comes in:

Abilities: Resupply UAV missles(2X more points than destroying strategic objective)
Go past boundary lines BEHIND their base
The reason why i say that the resupplyer gets 2X more points than destroying a strategic objective is to make people more interested in using the class. Plus they can go past the boundary lines is that u dont really want to have people killing them at their captured base while trying to resupply UAV missles

Pilots (and crewmen) would be great - Give them a machinepistol like the standard Anti-Tank together with knife, pistol and smokegrenade...
But as I still want everybody to be able to fly: They should have "Pilot Kit" bags placed besides jets and helicopters like powerups that spawn all the time so you can always get the kit without suiciding...
I would like the Engineer to have a stinger or 2 - just for fun...

Wrench - 2x the current repair point rate
Metal Mesh - Adds a metal grate to the sides the any vechile, detonates missiles before striking vechile. Only takes spash damage unless missile hit the top. This is what engineers planned to do for the tanks in Iraq.

I want a "Suicide Bomber" class! Your only weapon is the C4 strapped to yourself. Unlimited sprint, no points taken away for killing yourself, and a faster respawn time.

i think that the support class could be restricted a bit. they should write in the ability to set up your PKM or SAW or RPK wherever you like for a price..... 45' shooting infront 5 or 6 seconds to set up. that way yo could defend flags with out sitting on a gun and watching every one runaround the outside of its View, you could also merge this feed with the ground defense feed so that every one has a better chance of getting the expert badge. it would be loke the mortarts from BF:VIetnam.
