An extreme example of (senseless) procrastination: I was supposed to do an essay due to be handed in this afternoon at 3pm in my tutorial, and having 'started' it yesterday mid-day at around 1pm and having written very little, it is now 8:30am and I am waking up after around 3 hours sleep to finish it in the brief morning moments. Pointless, stupid and fucking annoying... because as soon as this one is handed in and out the way, I have to somehow find the stamina and energy to start another due in tomorrow.

I saw it for the first time the other day too, it's not scary 'cane.

I didn't like it actually, thought it was a bit shit.

it's not that it was scary, it's that my mind was blown at the end of the film with the whole "I had lunch with Owen in london thing"

Fail.

If you seriously wanna get back into a normal routine for sleeping, open your curtains right up as a start. In the morning, the light resets your body clock to some extent. That, and go to sleep at a decent time (by 12...) AND eat properly.

Should do the trick.

Sounds like good advice, shame it's a bit late for me to put it into practice until later today lol.

Think roughly 96 hours is my record ... was in the millitary during "hell week" and i actually fell asleep during the "torture" session while they were banging artillery shells together to try and keep us awake ... never felt so fucking weak as I did after those 9 days ...

it's 1am and i still have work to do (i'll probably make a shit job of it)

Still, this is a relatively early night

Good times

Btw, Protip: coffee + a few minutes of excercise in the morning (personally, i bike from the train station to school, ~ 12 minutes) saves you falling asleep during the day. When I changed from walking to school ( ~ 25 minutes) to biking the same route ( ~ 12 mins), I started being sorta normal again at school

Uni next year is gonna be FUCKED UP

Following up on yesterday's uncomfortable situation, I am sat here again on the following night... this time comparing two 14th century Medieval English poems. Even more dire and tedious than last night's essay; this time I have to laboriously translate the dense and incomprehensible runic alphabet into something loosely resembling mentally-handicapped Inglesh, and then write at length on the poetic effects.

Yes, if that last paragraph bored you, it bored me too. Pass me the noose, brb in 15 minutes after some asphyxiation-masturbation.

I did, sadly you can't 'choose' much when it comes to modules and background-topics that the University prescribes as mandatory-elements, feeling it as compulsory and beneficial for all for their greater understanding of the subject. .

almost midnight here. Need to do a physics lab report, but am going very slowly on it as I hate lab reports.
