Will the SF ribbons start showing up on the player stats? it shows i have earned some of them but they are not displayed only shawdows as if i dont have them.

if so the images you see are the ones that are displayed before you have been awarded it, once you have it, it will be coloured.

correct, i have earned the ribbons according to the bf2s.com player stats when i click over the ribbon, but they are not colored when i check my player stats in bf2s.com.
If you are talking about the service ribbons for SF, ie the SAS Rebel, MECSF and those, then no, There is a certain number of hours that needs to be played as those armies. It's not 5 hours. Some belive it to be around 25 of 50 hours. If it's any of the other three, crew service, halo or armoured, dunno what to tell you.

anyway, back on topic, i got the SAS ribbon, right after 50hours, but i dont see it ingame. or... at least i didnt think i saw it..........

hi kobrakai, sorry on being off topic, but holy CRAP! dude, ur my idol... lol nice awards! lately i play for awards (but i DONT tk or switch team or other lame thing!not even revive under heavy firefight which is stupid and selfish IMO), and thats, i think, my only drive to play BF2... well before EF released anyway...
and if i look for top scorer, they dont have anywhere near the awards im aiming for.... that is until i see ur stats... wow! congrats! hopefuly i can get all those expert badges as well still workin on Engi/Medic at the same time to get the expert combats and heal/repairs for one of the medals
