I think this test proves 1 thing - 98% of the population doesnt like doing unnecessary work.

I answered what tthf answered, and my mind's not tainted by Alcohol. I have been eating a lot of wackey wafers though.

I've worked it out though. If you multiply anything 1-10 by nine you'll always come up with a number that when added together equals nine. It's how I learned the nine times table when I was six. This means that everyone will at least come to the 'd' conclusion.

Also, Denmark is actually the only country in the world that starts with a letter 'd' which means everyone gets to the Denmark conclusion. Now eveyone has the same animal letter.
Kangaroo is the most commonly known 'k' animal, but if you chose ANYTHING different, (even if it was an Australian Marsupial,) that means you are in the two percent that think differently. It's not the country that matters as there is only one choice, but if you answered other than kangaroo, you're special.

Edit: Actually, I'm pissed off! A shorter version of that puzzle would be "What's the first animal that comes to your head that begins with a 'K'." It just prooves that 98% of the world think about Kangaroos a lot...

Djibouti. Honestly, who the Hell would think of that? It was only formed in 1977 too. I suppose it counts though. Still, selection is extreamly limited, (only two,) and was purpously made so in this test..

2 : 2x9 = 18 so 1+8 =9
3 : 3x9 = 27 so 2+7=9

are you thinking of kangaroos in denmark?

if not, you're among the 2% of the population whose minds are different enough to think of something else.  98% of people will answer with kangaroos in denmark when given this exercise

Its not that you would think differently but its the fact that most of the numbers mathmatically add up to 4 after that proccecs, also since denmark is the only noticable country begining with the letter d most ppl would think of that, and being that kangaroos are the most talked and noticed animal beginning with the letter k it is only natural for people to think of that as an answer. So in mathmatical probability it is natural that u would think about kangaroos in denmark.
