Instead I will tell you what we both alreay know what is commonly accepted as liberals in the US.

They want big govt. spending money on big govt. social programs. They want massive wealth redistribution to make life "fair". Unfortunatly it is hard to see what is "fair" about stealing money from workers and givnig it to non-workers.( see my sig) They are in favor of a wellfare state. THey want to punish achievment in the form of taxing the shit out of it to cover non- achievment. THey are all fora weak military wanting to cut programs infavor of bowing to a the UN for all of our needs. They want to spend tax payer money on taking care of illegal aliens instead of kicking them the fuck out.

2. "EVERY citizen" does not need "taken care of", most of us are quite capable of taking care of ourselves. This is what I mean, you want the govt. controlling EVERY citizen regardless if we want your assistance or not. I do not need or want govt. in my private life, deciding my retirement, health-care, or any other personal decision of mine. Glad you admit it though.

3. Everyone already "gives up a little" in fact, we are already over taxed. AND not everyone gives up even a little ( some pay no taxes or very little). You want those that achieve to work for the welfare state instead of themselves. No thanks.

4. Who are YOU to decide what is "enough money"? How about letting the individual decide how much is "enough money" for them. This statement makes me cringe.

5. When were you promoted to general? SO you have decided the military is too big? So did Clinton, and look where that got us.

How many houses and cars do you need to be happy lowing? ... self made millionairs if often those spending the least amount of money on themselves, they plow it all back into the company thus not paying that much tax, the ones reaping the full benefit of their company having houses and several cars on each continent surely can afford to pay some taxes also ... that is a good system.

5. I'm only a retired 2nd Lt but even I know the millitary must be adjusted up and down according to the current threat now and in the future
