Road kills in air Vehicles ?

In oder for someone to get a road kill they would have to run someone over with the vehicle thier in correct?

since thats the case how do you get road kills in a chopper or airplane? I look at my stats and it says that i have 192 road kills in a chopper and 142 in airplanes. How is this possible? Im quite sure I never ran down 192 people in a chopper, so how can I get road kills if I never ran anyone down in one?

Maybe the TK's count as roadkills? I don't know...I spent only very few time in planes, I got something like 5 roadkills with them. And I only remember running over teammates from time to time.

Yeah I can see Tks being counted as road kills but I never ran over 142 of my team mates in a airplane. hehe

such as: youre flying a chopper and youre shooting at a tank
you [m1a2] otherperson
thats (also) a road kill

i see this quite often actually. here's an example: a USMC Blackhawk with 5 passengers and a pilot are flying and are about to get shot down. the person who shoots them down is credited with the kills, right? what happens when a person bails just a split second too late and the falling debris from the blown up chopper hits them? here's what the console might say:

Enemy [Igla] Pilot
Enemy [Igla] Passenger1
Enemy [Igla] Passenger2
Enemy [Igla] Passenger3
Enemy [Blackhawk] Passenger4
Enemy [Blackhawk] Passenger5

even though Enemy wasn't flying the blackhawk, he caused the blackhawk to kill passengers 4 and 5. got it?

This is also how you get road kills in ground defence something i found to be pretty silly seeing as how you cant run over somebody in something that doesnt move

Another mystery of the game. Obviously the AI counts some kind of kill you can get with Ground Defense as Road Kills. But exactly that situation is I have no idea but it must exist if its getting counted.

Im pretty sure if your in a helicopter and kill infantry that arent in vehicles, it counts as a road kill.

road kills are kills U do with a vehicle, i.e. u stinger a helicopter which crashes on somebody, or somebody gets killed thru the chopper in the air, or, most case of road kills, u crash into another plane/chopper/vehicle while using it (kamikaze).

Road Kills are kills you gain by driving over ppl... in helo or airplane it is done just as described here... if they get out and get killed by the explosion it's a road kill.

I have personally recieved credit for 8 definate "classic roadkills" with aircraft: I've deliberately squashed 2 guys with heli's while capping; and I've killed 5 others that tried to grenade (or C4) the heli by landing and rotating in place.

But my finest achievement was scraping an enemy sniper off the top of a hill with an F-18.

I can't claim that this was entirely intentional, as I was in the process of doing my best imitation of a lawn-dart whilst attempting to pull out of an evasive diving turn when I noticed him. I assumed he would simply be "collaterol damage" and a minor consolation for my pilot error, but I just missed kissing the ridge, and got to hear him yell as he flew over the canopy . . .
