I didnt have a problem with anything he said in the  article. Lets look at the main points.

-Energy independence.
-create new jobs
-US to become a world leader in the renewables industry
-Discourage deforestation
-Give US farmers an alternative income stream.

Its all pretty positive. Notice I havent even mentioned climate change. Although I believe it is real and man made, the above points make sense even if you dont agree.

As for his power consumption. I am a bit wary of the dodgy data on the internet, so I take it with a grain of salt. Even if he uses stacks of power, he has done more to lessen overall carbon emissions that most.

My problem with Gore, is that he is constantly stating the obvious. I suppose there is no room for him on the lecture circuit with Clinton hogging the limelight with tales of blowjobs.
He has seen an opening in the market. Its made him a very rich man.

lol@douche nozzle. Interwebs and crazy kids.

Agreed. Even if, if you don't believe in man-made climate change. Point 1 is the fact that it is Changing, and point 2 is that the industry of....well, basically what Burwhale listed...could be a major thing that lifts countries out of the current economic climate. Point 3 is that there's nothing wrong with being more environmentally friendly and energy efficient.

Granted. He has raised the profile of climate change. Still, he is making a fortune out of it.
