The point of my sig was to illustrate the fact that Obama is being judged by the color of his skin and not the content of his character … quite opposite to MLK’s dream.  Obama’s rise to the presidency is being hailed as a civil rights victory, yet the plain fact is that it is not.  In his political career he has accomplished nothing that has given minorities any right they did not already possess from the true advances in civil rights in the 1960s.  Since then, people of all races have the same rights. Are there still racist people? Sure and there always will be no matter who is in office.

Bitter? rofl  You guys are hilarious.  I know Obama described we right wingers as bitter religious gun owners but that doesn’t make all 3 true.   What’s done is done in regard to the election.  Race has absolutely nothing to do with it. 

Throwing about “racist” is a poor attempt at debate.  Obama simply is not a civil rights figure, rather he’s a liberal politician that happens to be black.  It’s insulting to what MLK accomplished to link Obama’s presidency to the civil rights struggle simply because of his race.  Sure, he’s the first black president and that’s great ... but it doesn’t affect anyone’s civil rights.
