My parents were born in the late 1940s. They are from the baby boomer generation. Coney Island and Nathans in the 50s. Seeing the greatest musical performances of their lives in the 60s. Seeing the world and doing lots of drugs in the 70s and 80s. Working for the man in the 80s and 90s Probably doing more drugs in the 00's.
What do you think was the greatest thing you gained as a child of your parents' due to the days that they lived through?
For me: Exposure to great music and a more intimate appreciation for the civil rights, women's rights, and hippie movements.

This question: "What do you think was the greatest thing you gained as a child of your parents' due to the days that they lived through?" is more important than the years they were born in. Do address it, less this thread die quicker than a fly born next to a frog pond.
