Well... I agree that Oakland is a shit stain. I also believe the reactions of these people are ridiculous, but it's kind of like the Duke Lacrosse rape case. People were definitely using the race card, but it's the result of an already racially charged environment.usmarine wrote:

Right now, there's a big problem in Oakland, CA over the police shooting an unarmed black man. Some riots have occurred, and their inspiration is definitely one of racial tension.
The blacks in Oakland that have rioted wouldn't be so violent if they didn't live under these conditions.
I would agree that what they are doing is only making things worse, however.
