Since the "best beer" is an argument with no end... i instead propose a way to highlight your beer without the egregious insults about your sexuality and homeland when you want to talk about your favorite brew. in this thread, post your favorite/recently consumed beverage, and give a bit of a summary as well as a 1-10 rating. if you embed a pic, keep it small. at the very least, this will help me (you?) make an informed choice if I want to try something new.

my last beer was a Rogue Shakespeare Stout

it was probably one of, if not the best beer i've ever tasted. it actually has a hint of chocolate to it that really makes this a delicious beer... i only had one 22 oz. bottle, but i was warm and fuzzy after finishing.

A Becks. Quite nice, bubbly, although it wasn't cold. So 6/10, but for a cold becks I'd say 8/10.

Slightly biased since it's brewed in Atlanta, but it's still extremely good. If you can find it, also try the Sweetwater Donkeypunch and Sweetwater Festive Ale. All are incredible.
