Iraq came about with misguided information, but calling the countries involved spineless is a pretty close-minded view. These countries were doing what they thought was best at the time, and taking a fight and standing up to those responsible (Al-Qaeda and its allies) is not being spineless.

Signed off by Jeb Bush, Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld, Richard 'Fuckface' Perle, Dick Cheney, Eliot Cohen, William Kristol, Francis Fukuyama (since repented), Elliott Abrams, Donald Kagan, Steve Forbes and the rest. They actually were brazen enough to announce to the world that 'we are the leaders, we want to control the world, and we want to copper fasten and extend that control in our own interests'. Black and white. The Iraq war is the biggest tangible demonstration of their insipid agenda. Afghanistan was understandable in the context of 9/11. Any grovelling nation that engaged in Iraq to appease the 'superpower' is spineless and is worthy of nothing more than disdain.
