Apparently Russia and the Ukraine have come to an agreement. Gas will start flowing to Southeastern Europe in a few days. The Ukraine will get a 20% rebate on their gas this year, and next year they'll pay the full price.

So I guess now I'm allowed to say: The Ukrainian prime minister - I'd hit it.

The price is twice that of last year. It might be that if a country is getting their gas from two or more places, such as Russia and the North Sea, that the Russians are charging more.  So everyone else might be ok paying those prices cause they(or at least much of Western Europe), dont get the majority of their gas from Russia and therefore arent suffering quite the drain on their national bank. No clue actually.
