You should have proper warranties. Mine broke (after 18 months or so). Took it to the shop and they gave me an on the spot replacement.
The hardware reliability is poor, granted, but it's better than the competition in pretty much every way that counts. Also the new ones have FAR fewer problems. So if he has a new one, he should be fine. If you've got a repaired or refurbed one, then yes, sucks to be you.
Plus it means I have to go all the way upstairs.Naturn wrote:

Yeah, that guy. If his already RRoD'd, I am pretty fucking sure it will happen many more times.

No other console atm has the games selection the 360 has. Nor the online goodness.
You buy a console for games. It has the best games.
It's that simple.
What good are the games when you can't play them?
What good is a console without good games?phishman420 wrote:

All I play are sports games, and I'm pretty sure all consoles have them available.Bertster7 wrote:

Then why are you on a forum dedicated to an online FPS?phishman420 wrote:

GT5, lol. If it ever comes out....Jenspm wrote:
I <3 my 360, but I wish I had a PS3.
Why? GT5, and being able to use my G25.
What ever happened to GT4 Mobile - I've wanted that for my PSP since I got it, but the development just seemed to stop.
Wish I could use my G25 with 360. Seems madness not to be able too. Especially with all the good racing games exclusive to 360.
The peripherals are something the PS3 beats the 360 on hands down (except the controllers, which are what you use most anyway).
I'd quite like Time Crisis 4 - with the light gun that'll work on my projector....

Because FPS games fail on console but not on PC...Bertster7 wrote:

I used to have a Neo Geo. $460 for a game is nothing.
I did that for GTA IV, its just a good reason to buy the console and then enjoy all the other features and games...Miggle wrote:

I never regretted it

I bought GT5P. I thought it was awful. I sold it.
It felt like a $30 demo.

Do the Elites have that new chip in them or is that just the arcades for now?
Tell me if you think it is worth it over the pro, I have a spare HDMI left on my tv
