Hi there,

Was just browsing the internet when my computer restarted itself. Its now saying I have a Trojan key logger called Win32.Zafi.B. I'm not very good with the computer but I tried running a virus scan while my system was in safe mode but it didn't find anything. I can't access the internet now on my main computer so I'm on the laptop.

Anyone got any tips for getting rid of the bugger?

I ran bitdefender but it failed to delete it once and after that it couldnt find it.

If the AV can't get rid of it you have 2 options:
1: reformat
2: manually hunt it down, delete the virus and replace any damaged files

option 1 is faster and easier

Yeah sorry couldn't really be arsed with grammar last night. Cheers for the help guys. Problem is I don't have a boot disc/install disc. My computer was custom built and came without any of those sort of things. Can you format without a cd?

You can format, yeah. You can't reinstall windows after formatting though (So it's pretty useless)

You're going to need a copy of Windows.
