Hmm...I'm running a 7800GT with a Athlon 64 3500+ and Forceware 81.98...

Notice also that the G36E has a white barrel...interesting, huh?

I had that before. You need to clear your optimized shader cache. Go to Mydocuments/Battlefield 2/mods/bf2/ and delete everything in there, do the same if you see an xpack forlder if you have SF.

Yeah try clearing the cache like the above posted mentioned. If that doesn't work I say the probelm is either bad graphcis drivers (try updating to the lastest WHQL version) or overheating. Try opening your case and point a desk fan at it. If the problems stop then you need to upgrade the cooling in your PC.

i had that once with my 6800gt, also the players were bright purple.

i just downled the clocks a bit and fixed it.

obviously dont do this if your card isnt overclocked!
