but now that i have learned this, my head has been going in SO many directions.
my first steps are going to be me to make five, square foot sheets. then run those out to the range and shoot them. the first sheet with one bullet, the second with two and so on....
after that, im going to get a hold of some carbon fiber sheets, and add a couple of those in the mix. after i see the results from that, ill go and get a REAL thin sheet of kevlar and add that to it....basically, im going to run with this shit until i die. i keep finding different uses for it, and this whole "bulletproof" thing only inspires me more.
Come to ATL kthx.
Acid!
what was the thickness?Parker wrote:
har har.
we went to the range today, so i decided to bring a scrap piece of material to shoot at.
what do you know?
it stopped a 230gr .45 hollow point from seven yards
neat pic of neatness
ill put up some better pics later.
just shy of a half inch...
i have to mic it before i will know exactly.
the sheets im planning on making are all going to be 1/4 inch thick, by a foot squared.
