A Chinook should still be able to drop off one of those little dune buggies. The problem is, BF2 already has adequate air transport, squad leaders are spawnable and kits give vehicles an aura of health, ammo, or repair. I think the best thing that could be brought in from "Battlefield: Vietnam" is the underground areas.
