OK now I have searched a for this and it is a whole new problem for me.
I bought EF, paid for it, downloaded it, installed it , the EA downloader say's it's ready to play but when I select a server that is running it, it say's that I have not got it installed and I need to go buy it Im sure some of you have seen the message somewhere..please help me or let me know your thoughts on this

I have the exact problem. I also tried to unistall EF but it is not listed on the add/remove program list. Also does not seem to be anywhere on the local drive even though it said it was successfully installed. I tried manually running the setup.exe from the downloded location but it runs for about 3 seconds and says it was successful and I can only click Finish. I am not able to re-download the game. I don't see the option. The only option that I see is PLAY. I even removed and re-install the EAD.  I already left an email to EA support yesterday. Just want to share my frustration.

Is the EA.com account the same as the EA downloader account?

yes, the account you registered bf2 with during instalation is the account you use for the downloader.

You don't need to download gay ass gamespy. Just go in the EA downloader click on edit gamespy name. Enter your EA downloader name and password, then edit the gamespy name to the EXACT game name you use in game. Bam, done. It takes one minute.

ok i have figured it out.....When your creat a EA ccount on the EA downloader it must be the SAME as you ingame name I didnt remember my first EA account so I created another just to get EF but it was different to my BF2 account so I got EF downloaded it, installed it, but still the same problem, but then I created another BF2 account with the same name as my EA downloader and I got into the servers that were running EF....so you have to use the same name as your EA downloaded even if it means creating a new BF2 account.

It just depends on if you want to keep the stats you have or wanting to play EF badly, but I have emailed EA to ask if they can please swap the wrong details to the right accoungt I want to use because I really dont want to lose the rank and awards I have. 

Please let me know your thoughts on this
