Possibly New Monitor + New Speakers, need some recomendations

So currently,

My speakers are crackling a lot (Currently have Z-2300), and I was somewhat disappointed in the quality from the speakers as well as the ability to play them loud, So I was looking at the Bose Companion 5 Speakers (Yes, I know it's a high price, and it may take a month for me to save for it) But I heard them in the store and could be cranked up and sound great. So any other input would be nice.

Monitor, I want something a little bit larger (Currently have a 226BW), there is absolutely nothing wrong with the monitor, but I was looking to get the
2433BW, It has a great price, and appears to have good performance, any other input would be nice. I can probably sell my current monitor to a friend, so that's not a problem.

Monitor seems good, everyone seems to love Samsung for them.

As for Speakers, I'm not sure on the price or specs for those speakers you mentioned, but I just got some Logitech Z-540's that are pretty awesome. It plays fucking loud even at half way, and the bass is pretty awesome below half way already.

I haven't even tried it full blast, yet Damn people living around me and my subtle respect for them...

Those speakers are far worse than what he has now. z2300 are the best consumer 2.1 speakers. I'm also looking for new speakers, currently looking at these: (its in Slovene, just scroll down)

Theres also an additional set of surround speakers if you want to expand that setup from 2.1 to 5.1. Upgradable. Let me know if its in your budget.

USB yes. I cannot connect these as my sound card already is USB connected. Dunno about availabily in US, better browse US sites. But read many reviews on it and lots of "audiophiles" (no ordinary listeners) recommend it.

D you also have a USB sound card? I'm saying it won't work with mine since mine is an external USB sound card.

Just ordered the monitor on Newegg.. Should be here in a few days.. I'll have to save a few bucks for the Bose set unless something else comes up.
