I would give it a 5, 2/3 of the maps are still jet whore maps and makes armor combat a bitch if you have a good pilot and bomber. Now if its just a pilot hogging the plane its alright, but with a good bomber *cries*
I like the EF maps but they might want to call it "Euro Forces Armour Assalt" instead.

the new maps are awesome. not only are they a lot of fun to play, but they all seem much more detailed than any of the other maps. the eurofighter is a bit of a let down, but the new chopper and tank are pretty sexy. also, the weapons for the EU are awesome.

I gave it a 1 . I just really dont like it, Im not a fan of tanks, planes bore me and the maps are too big. I also feel extremely let down by the new helicopter. It all looks great though, maps are lovely looking dead boring though. Great guns but really nowhere to use them its all armour or planes or die.

i give it a 10,in normal bf i'm sick of armor (karkand spawn raping whores suck ass) but euro i love the 2 armor maps,got euro today & just been playin euro only servers & had some good tank vs tank battles.main map for me though has to be great wall lol been gaggin for a new infantry based map for ages,just gotta keep an eye out for all the claymores.main thing is all the maps run sweet as fuck compared to laggy o'l sf maps.think i'd play sf more if it ran better without compromising on gfx setttings.
I'll give it a 2 , the problems & the way they made you get it is foolish , I cant even see the maps name in the server, I have to connect to ip's. Spawn on squadleader bug is still there , smoke screen & the quarry got old quick.

I give it a 7, its a good extension to BF2, but I agree that it could use some more infantry friendly maps to promote the use of Euro forces infantry weaponry. The Great Wall map is great, if a little ungainly at times.
What is there nothing else to the game besides tanks and planes ? Most idiotic comment of the year there. There are helicopters (astounding isnt it) there are also great infantry battles which are different to the majority of FPS (most similar with classes would be Enemy Territory). Theres the whole squad/commander syste, the size of the games, buggys and FAVs and vodniks can be entertaining at times. Oooh 3 factions ? Special Forces ?.ThomasMorgan wrote:

I dont dislike all big maps (reading posts properly helps) I love Dragon Valley, Dalian and I find Fushe and Daqing playable. I said the maps are too big.
Anyway CS in its day was far better than BF ever could be one thing thats in BF2s favour is diversity. The comments about CS are getting a bit clicheed now dont you think? Person likes infantry battles: fanboy comes back and says go play CS or something along those lines. They are totally different games stop comparing them, the infantry battles in BF2 are rather compelling, why else do you think city maps are so popular?

I think the Euro Force maps are cool. But way to much armor. The maps are for engineers, support and anti-tank. Oh yeah you could be a sniper too, how else would you kill the guy running to armor or helicopter. Where are all these great infantry battles? All I see is armor and air-power battles. The great wall has way to many darker areas where mines are almost impossible to see. And the other 2 maps are extremely huge. I think Euro Force is a big let down. And for the record the tanks arent sexy. The tanks are weak pieces of crap.
After playing for a couple of hours I'm completely unimpressed. Much like special forces, I doubt I'll be playing it much (if ever). My goal is to just grit my teeth and try to get 5 hours play out of it which breaks it down to $2 an hour. I can live with that.
I'm sure some will like it, though I suspect most will be somewhat disapointed.

im not much of a plane/armor whore. so i don't really like maps that are so huge you have to grab armor just to get around. quarry is 100% armor whore map. smoke screen is hele/plane whore map. great wall is all snipers and tanks. EA definity could have done better. the new guns are alright, basically new models and animations. sure they are kinda cool, but not really anything too special.

awesome maps. great wall is simply one of the best maps in the game. and operation smoke screen always turns in a huge tank fight, with 5 or 6 challengers facing 5 or 6 t90s in the middle of the desert. exciting.
awesome weapons. hk21 is my new fav weapons in the game. l86 packs quite a punch. hk53a3 looks cool. famas is really an itneresting weapon.
awesome vehicles. the challenger is ugly but it's a f***ing rhino, i roamed around op smoke screen for an hour and the only way the managed to blow me up has been by facing me with a t90, a tow and 2 eryx. the tiger looks really cool, but i didn't manage to fly him yet. the ef2000 is really a cute aircraft, even if a bit slow in turns and when gaining altitude after a bombing run.
the only issue i had has been a crash to desktop while playing great wall, but happened with vanilla bf2 too so this is a general problem of bf2. let's hope in some patch.
oh and i still have a lot of graphics bugs (x850xt) but i'm going for an nvidia 7800gtx in the next days so i don't bother about silly textures and invisible obstacles. i never had problems with my old 6800gt so let's turn nvidia
