Portraits!
Got the chance to mess about with some SLR:s (Nikon D40 and Canon EOS400D) and a non-SLR, aka PowerShot A510, which actually is pretty versatile. I now want my own entry-level SLR to replace my old EOS300 (with the film roll stuff still happening) which I never use.
The following portraits were taken with cameras that aren't mine, but what I'd like to have. Shopping has been limited to saturation and color balance tweaks.

Those pics of places from Disney World look exactly like places at Disneyland. Hooray for evil corporation using cookie-cutter theme park designs and placing them all over the world!

Here's one of my aunts dogs named Churchill. They adopted him from a animal shelter in Myrtle Beach a couple years ago.
I call it the attack chopper. Took this pic at a friends wedding last summer with their Nikon D40. Only yesterday did I finally get the photo emailed to me, and I finally saw it in full size. Editing: Cut the top and a bit of the bottom off to make it panoramic, tweaked yellow saturation and added +5 contrast.

On my 55-200 I can get a nice shot, the features show, though not in the best res, when I zoom in on the pic on the LCD screen. But I can see the impact craters and the different areas, I can see where Apollo 11 landedKmarion wrote:
