- RPG-7 As an unlock?
Eh? The MEC SF Forces also use the Eryx, only the Insurgent Forces and Rebels are running around with the RPG-7.Ever seen on Leviathan/Iron Gator/Devils Perch an RPG-7?Wasder wrote:
I don't get it. If RPG-7's so shitty them why MEC SF, who must obviously have weapons better then the rest of MEC army use it?Aquastorm wrote:
No.....MEC is a PROPER Amry, the RPG 7 is old, dusty and doesn't do shit to modern tanks unless you happen to fire it into the barrel or at the tracks. But then the crew would still be unharmed.
A proper army won't go and buy old dusty RPGs. (Think: Anti-tank class can't destroy tanks) and if would make the game unbalanced, since the USMC has guided and the MEC doesn't have guided and also does less damage.
Pro for the RPG-7: No lock on
Contra:can't guide
I think the contra weights harder.I played a lot of AT and try to hit the weakspots. With an RPG it's really hard to do that on longer distance.

I played one round of SF so far and I was thrilled to have the RPG-7 show up. Having hours and hours of DC under my belt the RPG was like reuniting with an old friend. I'd love the RPG-7 on Wake...
I'm happy with the ERYX simply because I can make subtle adjustments in trajectory in order to hit choppers. The RPG-7 fits with Insurgents moreso than MEC. I have no clue why they gave it to MECSF.

I'd enjoy the RPG-7 ALOT if it was an unlock. I like the fact that it doesn't give off warning and you'd have to predict where your target is going to be.
after you fire you can duck, reload, reposistion, and aim again. no use guiding it... just think about where your next shot is going to place.

see this http://world.guns.ru/grenade/gl00-e.htm last words on the PAGE
The recent campaigns of the US army in Iraq and of the Russian army in Chechnya proved that antitank launchers (most notably, the old faithful RPG-7) still are quite effective against most modern armor, if used properly.
the rpg rocks, no tone. Just use it in guriella fashion
reviving dead threads FTW!
wooooooooooooot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111oneoneoneoneone i still want this as an unlock though
This should be an unlock for the AT-class.. Transforming the AT -> AA.. Yes! It's the shoulder-launched AA-missile!
The word "MANPADS" sounds really, really, ridiculously gay, but it stands for: Man Portable Air Defense System..
