God I hate seeing Flexing cards with aftermarket coolers. Loosen forward screws pl0x.
what do you mean by forward screws?  the ones toward the front of the case?
I was wondering that too. My Sapphire x1950pro has a bend now that I've put a Zalman cooler on it. It doesn't worry me, but maybe it should...

Haffy, is your PSU fan sucking in the opposite direction to the scythe above it?

BTW Good job on the VRM sinks, I wouldn't bother with a custom one.

My X800GTO had a slight bend with my Zalman VF900. Not really a big deal, those PCB boards can flex a fuckload.

well anyway, i loosened it and it's idling at 39C now.  needless to say i'm going to tighten it again.  it was a very minor bend anyway.

mine is bent a little too. In fact I had to add washers to the screws so that it makes a decent contact at all. With just the stock mounting the card is perfectly straight but I idled at 80°C.

how so?

temps are 5-6C lower, the PCB is ever so slightly bent, and a couple of other people around here have done it for years without issues...
