Well connected remotely to my server at home... fed in my creditcard details and it is downloading now...
download speed of downloader : 200 Kb / second (since I have a 2Mbit DSL line thats my full bandwith).

Could someone tell me, is the download just an .exe file. What i mean is can i download here at work, then stick it on a usb key and take it to the home machine, or does it have to be downloaded on machine that game is installed on?

although if you can install downloader at work you can get ef and burn the files it downloads then add them to your downloader files on you comp at home.
that's correct... just put the downloaded files from the downloader cache directory at work in the downloader cache directory on your own PC. If you have a 512 Mb Usb stick that would work.
Apparently I can't download cause my pc isn't running XP. Well actually its running XP PRO X64. Hate to sound like a whinger but what a surprise!!!

just a quick howto guide -
just goto http://downloader.ea.com/
and follow the links - you need to make a gamespy account (which does not need to be the same as your player nick) to get the downloader.
Don't worry about the downloader and gamespy stuff too much as you can remove them once you have Euro Force installed !!

Feed in your payment details and gamespy id you use for playing BF2 (your ranked account name) and it will take you to a downloadpage. There you can download and install the downloader and when it starts on your computer you see EURO FORCES waiting in the list of available files.
Click download... way about 30 minutes (if you have 2 Mbit DSL) and then click Install after the download has finished.

And I am ready to purchase... But I need my damn "Game Spy account".. So I figured that would be the same as my "BF2 online account.. " (When logging into the game).. I have tried "my" in game name, and my e-mail adresse, but I still keeps getting the same error...
