Last time XBL went down for no reason, we got a game worth 800 MSP.

This time XBL went "down", we got the biggest upgrade to the OS completely for free.

Oooh no, damn M$.

On topic - I just downloaded the update and it took a longass time, but it worked. Try it again now.

At anyrate, It was a joke and I was just pointing out that while "thats what we get for having a free service" the pay services gets the same damn thing.
And considering the cost of a game, vs the cost of a subscription, and the fact that every PSN update has been free with out having to wait for it to go down.... I'd say its at least even.

How is pointing out the live goes down, and that while you got a game, we get years of online service, and we both get updates daft? I used to get that error all the time when I first got my PS3. I don't know what it's about, but try again later. I couldn't finish even like a 10mb game update because I'd get that same error. I stopped trying for a couple of days and then when I tried again, I never got the error again. It's just a problem with Sony's server that happens every now and then.

And to the people mentioning that's what you get for free internet, I'd rather have an error once every couple of months than have to pay $50/year.

Kerry's a 360 fanboy. He knows it, I know it...there's no contesting it. However, Kerry doesn't incessantly attack PS3 threads, unlike some members here who attack(ed) 360 threads whenever they appear (Serge).

And daft isn't a british-only word, so I don't know where you got that notion.
