No, if I answer the THOUSANDS of simple questions with links to posts that they could have found with two seconds of effort then these kinds of people will never learn to help themselves. The search function is there so that you can find answers to simple questions.
Searching is a basic feature of the internet, my telling them to go learn how to use it will help them immensely more than simply handing them information every time they have a question that has been answered a thousand times over.
