southerncross takes the internet too seriously.

I dunno if adding zipline, grapple etc to regular BF2 would be such a good idea. The SF maps are designed with that equipment in mind, but with vanilla maps there are meant to be roofs you can't reach for the sake of balance. And there's also the issue of using the grapple to wallglitch, which is still an issue in SF.
I also remember hearing that it's impossible to add more weapons to the game due to the way it's coded (or something along those lines).
I wouldn't be too fussed if they made this just a "fix" patch and not add any new content. A new map would be nice, but as long as they fix bugs and do some balancing (F35 lol) I'd be happy with it.

not likely, the only version of bf2 that you can really find in large availability is the complete collection, but if EF/AF were free then they wouldn't sell the moneymaking one, people would go on to amazon and get the cheaper one (BF2 deluxe (includes SF) or just vanilla), and effectively get the same for less. Doesn't make business sense.
