SP - Halo 2, GoldenEye, probably first FPS i ever played.. Halo 2 was pretty epic imo (didn't play Halo 1 before that), except for the end. But the scarab part in the city with that music, still crazy imo
MP - WoW/CoD4/CS:S/BF2 , amount of fun i had in WoW with mates on TS and shit makes the game worth it really. MP games for me are as much about the part having fun with your mates as having awesome gameplay, these games i had most fun with.

I experimented and left a game open with some high rank untouchable units on top of a hillside in one of the missions. When I came back, I couldn't figure out where the Soviets pulled 780,000 disposable tanks from. The same thing irritates me in CoD.
