It'll only die when players stop wanting to play it.
I reckon give it atleast another 4 years....they may take the stats server down then..prob another few years after that.
There's still games like hidden and dangerous that came out 7 years..that are pretty shit and theres still an online following.

Yup bf2 should be around for long. I never used to like FPS but this game converted me.
