Damn that site has some nice watches.Noobeater wrote:
This topic is relevant to my interest, I too am searching for a watch. It is to be my christmas present and/or my 18th birthday present if its an expensive one.
As i keep knackering my watches i.e. scratching the hell out of them or in the case of my last one scratching it to hell then stripping the sealant off it by getting insect repellant on it whilst hiking.
My father suggested a tough CWC G10 military standard watch that though lacking in functions it is designed to be tough.
He also suggested this an MTM Blackhawk spec. ops. watch. More functions to it and designed to be even tougher, costs a significant amount though for a watch (well for me) but a watch is a good 18th gift.

Btw if i were you phishman i'd get that 89% off watch if even to put it on ebay to try to make some easy cash out of it if you don't like it.

I've had my watch for roughly 4 years, and I've only replaced the battery once.max wrote:
Try to get a automatic/self-winding watch. Those damn batteries are a bitch to replace and always die in a bad moment.
