Pretty sure the PM of Poland is an elected official.

Did you even read the articles in the OP, or are you just being argumentative?

We just pointed out your post failed, and returned the 'shut the fuck up' thing right back.
So you agree with me then.

Because that is exactly the type of response I expected from the very people I was talking about.

Um, theres slim chance I agree with you

If you take any criticism of your President as a national insult - too bad.

If you take any criticism of American govt policy as a personal insult to yourself and every American alive or dead - too bad.

If we write 'The US did....' instead of 'the President put forward a bill to congress which was passed by a 4/7 majority and thus the executive branch were instructed to action.....' its just that we're lazy and not pedants.

Please get over it

Both ... but 2 out of 3 still leaves your OP with a huge fail ... i merely pointed out that 2 of them wasn't elected officials ...

I don't think anyone would disagree with either of those statements...but I'm pretty sure neither of those are the topic of the debate here.

You'll find the type of responses in this thread the same as the ones in supposedly anti american threads. As in, 90% flames.

Having the same ridiculous "logic" applied to Europe that is regularly applied to America in this forum.

This whole thread is hilarious for a number of reasons.

1) These issues have already been covered in threads started by Europeans.
2) The very idea that anywhere is a utopia where racism has been eradicated is absurd.
3) No one cares.
4) FEOS seems very worked up about it and the Europeans responding seem ambivalent.

I have watched this post since the beginning and from the beginning I knew exactly what FEOS was doing. He even let the posts go on a bit before he responded to see what reaction he would get from this post. If you didn't realize what was goihg on with this post from the beginning then some of you are not as smart as I thought. Many of you fell for it hook, line and sinker and then get defensive and bitter at FEOS when YOU realized you fell for it.

FEOS has been a very consistant poster here and posts better messages here than most of you could ever try. I find it hilarious the responses he got from this post and the double standards held in these forums. When an american like myself sees a ridiculous post painting all americans with one stroke and we defend, and in some cases, attack the OP, many of you go nuts about that. But when the shoe is on the other foot, it didn't feel so good and all i see here is people attacking one person for the OP.

There are quite a few people in these forums who JUMP at the opportunity to find and post anything negative about the United States or its government, even if the post is not backed by anything other than a story from the internet without merit, as if the internet is always true and good. Quite a few post in the same tone as FEOS did in this post and look at the result.

Basically, he posted this in the tone that many of you post and waited for the reaction. Honestly, many of the people who typically post garbage, like FEOS did here for affect, responded just as he thought you would. That is my opinion, that is how I see it sitting back and watching this thread and yes, many of you are full of double standards when it fits your agenda. Many "true colors" showed up in this thread and I have been laughing from the beginning. I say "Good Job" FEOS.....the only negative I would say to FEOS is this: Dont waste your breath and go to the level of a lot of people in these forums....as you can see from the responses. Keep your standards higher.

And your country with thousands years of history with a fully set military got owned by a country of barely any history and a militia of farmers and citizens...

So basically -

You = meh.

So basically, you + 3 Euro countries, beat 1 other Euro country. Ohhhhhhhh....

We're better than both of you.

The Europeans were dumb enough to send criminals to the greatest country on Earth, only to regret it cause now we're better at you in sport.

American history has a lot of parallels to Australian.  Except we were never late to any major war. The Americans have fought more wars than us however. We never fought a civil war. Or a war of independence. lol

You've made accusations not backed up by any evidence or examples.

Again,

If your nation does something as a nation we are allowed to criticise your nation, it doesn't mean we hate every American.

If your nation has a track record of certain behaviour, we are entitled to conclude its an American trait, so we can criticise Americans.
Again it doesn't mean we hate every American.

Generalising, LOL, since Americans are indoctrinated with a superiority complex they get hissy when criticised, and lets face it America has a lot to be criticised for right now, something your next President has realised.
